The Labs for Learning team is focused on providing the best learning experience to our students. In order to obtain such a goal we work very closely with teachers and students; following a user-centered design approach and taking into account innovation, usability and accessibility.

Most UOC students work full-time, have families and, as a result, studying is an extra on top of all these other responsabilities. We apply user-centered design methods to learn how these students are: their needs, their wants and desires and their limitations. We design taking all these data into account and follow an iterative process to create and test our designs.

In order to incorporate new learning tools in the virtual classroom, we like to accompany our teachers. We incorporate new tools on-demand, we provide all the necessary information to include them in the learning process and, over all, we create spaces so that teachers can exchange their experiences.
